Normal traffic was on Friday restored near the Metro accident site in south Delhi, five days after the mishap which claimed six lives, even as the debris clearance operation was progressing. Delhi Metro officials said Moolchand-Nehru Place stretch was opened for two-way traffic during the day after workers managed to clear the debris from the stretch. One-way traffic on the stretch was opened on Tuesday. The collapse of an under-construction bridge in Zamrudpur on Sunday had killed six men while six others were injured the next day when cranes snapped during debris clearance operation. Till Thursday, vehicles were moving from Moolchand to Nehru Place side only. Structural experts Shirish Patel and Associates, which was appointed to undertake technical audit of critical structures continued its work while B P Singh, an expert on erection of heavy structures, conducted inquiry into Monday's mishap involving cranes
