कानपुर से चलने वाली कुछ ट्रेन अब इलाहाबाद से शुरू होंगी

Some of the major trains that have become synonymous with the city of Kanpur would now originate from Allahabad, though for a temporary period during the coming month of September. These trains include train number 2451/2452 Shram Shakti Express, train number 2173/2174 Udyog Nagri Express and train number 2943/2944 Udyogkarmi Express.
In this connection, train number 2951/2952 Shram Shakti Express instead of originating from Kanpur junction would depart from Allahabad at 21:00 hrs. It would arrive at Kanpur railway station at about 23:25 hrs and depart at 23:35 hrs. During the return journey, the train would arrive at Kanpur at about 6:00 am and terminate at Allahabad at about 8:35 hrs.
This arrangement has been made from September 5 to 12 when the train would originate from Allahabad instead of Kanpur.
Similarly, train number 2173/2174 Udyog Nagri Express running between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kanpur would originate from Allahabad railway junction from September 6 to 8. This train would originate from Allahabad junction at about 5:00 hrs and arrive at Kanpur junction at about 8:00 hrs. During the return journey, the train would arrive at Kanpur station at about 14:00 hrs and terminate at Allahabad junction at 16:30 hrs.
However, train number 2943/2944 Udyogkarmi Express running between Valsad and Kanpur has also been extended upto Allahabad. This train would arrive at Kanpur at about 19;20 hours and terminate at Allahabad at 22;25 hrs on September 9. During the return journey, this train would originate from Allahabad railway station on September 11 at about 5:00 pm and reach Kanpur at 7:40 hrs.
It is pertinent to mention that the work of remodelling of Kanpur yard and replacement of Route Relay Interlocking work at Kanpur station would be done from August 25 to September 12. Due to this work, the movement of these above trains have been extended upto Allahabad.
