Pasting posters on the walls of Charbagh station to advertise your cause without the prior permission from railways might land you in trouble. On Monday, the station officials got FIR registered against three people, who had put posters on the walls advertising their endeavour. The FIR was lodged against a doctor, an astrologer and the owner of an institute. Two of the accused surrendered on Tuesday. The commercial use of the railway property without the permission of the railways is not allowed under the Railway Act. Anyone wishing to use the railway property, within or outside the station building, will have to pay for the usage. Railway can allow its property to be used for promotion free of cost only under certain conditions
