बिहारियों का मुद्दा मेरा है, नितीश का नहीं, लालू ने खुलकर बोला, अपने ही अंदाज में ।
RJD supremo and railway minister Lalu Prasad is seeing a glimpse of himself at the jargons used by his bitter political rival and Bihar chief
minister Nitish Kumar to take digs at him and LJP supremo Ram Vilas Paswan. "Nitish is trying to imitate me. I am known throughout the country. Nobody knows Nitish outside the state," he said on Tuesday. He said the hate campaign in Maharashtra by the Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena was launched against him not Nitish. Nitish in recent times has taken digs at Lalu and Paswan in words which are not generally attributed to the sophisticated politician that he is. He even described Lalu as a ‘fused bulb' which cannot be lighted. "It's words used by Lalu to describe his political foes once," recalled a senior Congress leader. He took digs at Paswan for ridiculing the resignation of JD(U) MPs from Lok Sabha. "Nobody is stopping Paswanji from becoming a martyr by getting his head chopped off," Nitish said while reacting to Paswan's statement that Nitish wishes to be a martyr by sacrificing his nails. Lalu remarked that Nitish had eaten up his ally, the BJP. Nitish reacted by saying that Lalu had finished off the Congress. It's a tit-for-tat reaction. Lalu remarked that Nitish had even begun to celebrate Chhath at 1 Anne Marg this year - again copying him. Lalu supporters are surprised at the words used to the Bihar CM to get at their leader. "Actually these reactions come from a man who is becoming weak. Weak persons get angry. Nitish Kumar is becoming politically weak and, therefore, he is becoming angry and using such words," said RJD national spokesperson Shyam Rajak. Rajak's JD(U) counterpart and and Rajya Sabha MP Shivanand Tiwari has known both Lalu and Nitish Kumar ever since their college days. "The two (Lalu and Nitish) are poles apart. Nitish is sophisticated and witty. Lalu is crude in his remarks. The two cannot imitate each other," Tiwari said denying that Nitish was trying to imitate Lalu. Incidentally, the CM himself denied that he was trying to imitate Lalu. "Everybody knows that Laluji is excellent at caricature," he remarked suggesting that Lalu's own style had been adopted from the late Daroga Prasad Rai - a former Bihar CM. JD(U) leaders point out that Nitish Kumar has always been known for his witty satire and can never be as crude as Lalu. "There is no Lalufication of Nitish Kumar. He remains witty and humorous is his statements and political speeches and never crosses the line of political decency," stressed a senior JD(U) leader
