रेलवे में पुलिस का कारनामा, आर पी एफ तो रक्षक से भक्षक

रेलवे में पुलिस का कारनामा, आर पी एफ तो रक्षक से भक्षक बन गई है ।

Four constables of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and one constable from the Bareilly police were arrested in Shahjahanpur for allegedly molesting and misbehaving with a batch of girl students on board Rapti Ganga Express train during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. Police were on the lookout for two more cops from Bareilly who managed to get down from the train and escape before they could be apprehended. In a separate incident reported from Muzaffarnagar, a dismissed constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and his associate allegedly hacked to death a 13-years old girl after she resisted rape and tried to raise an alarm. The miscreants left the minor girl's grandmother, who was with the victim, critically wounded. Additional director general of police (ADG) Law & Order, Crime and Special Task Force (STF) Brij Lal told TOI that the incident took place on board the train when the victims — a tour group of students from St Andrews Degree College in Gorakhpur — were on their way back from Dehradun. The accused RPF constables attached to the Hardoi railway RPF post were travelling as train escorts while the other accused cops had joined them. After the train left Bareilly, a group of cops entered the coach in which the tour group was travelling and began to misbehave with the girls. They were joined by some other local male passengers travelling on the train. The situation came to a point where the girls raised objection over the indecent conduct of the cops and the public but had to retreat after the accused threatened to retaliate. Eventually, when the train reached Shahjahanpur, Prof I Richard who was leading the tour group, lodged a written complaint with the Shahjahanpur Government Railway Police (GRP) on the basis of which the accused cops were arrested. They were identified as head constable Mahesh Chandra and constables Vijay Kumar, Prakash Chaturvedi and Sitaram — all from the RPF along with constable Ramdeo Misra of Cantonment police station in Bareilly. The absconding constables were identified as Ram Awtar of Sheeshgarh and Brijendra Singh of Shahi police stations in Bareilly. Two members of the public — Vipin Srivastava and Vishal — both hailing from Shahjahanpur, were also arrested. The accused were booked under section 294/506 (eve-teasing and threatening) and sent to jail. In Muzaffarnagar, a sacked constable of the CISF Vijay alias Pintu and his aide Monu allegedly hacked a 13-years old girl to death with a spade and left her grandmother critically wounded in Nai Mandi police circle on Thursday night. According to the police, the victim and her grandmother -- both residents of Charupur Mukhiyali village were going to the jungles to collect firewood when they were intercepted by Vijay and Monu. The two, who were under the influence of alcohol, allegedly tried to rape the girl and when she tried to raise an alarm, they attacked her with a spade killing her on the spot. Her grandmother, who was accompanying her, too was attacked by the duo and left critically wounded. She was found lying in a pool of blood by the villagers on Thursday evening and rushed to the hospital where she later narrated the incident. A case of attempted rape, murder and murder attempt was lodged against the duo who were arrested and sent to jail.
