महाराष्ट्र के पूर्व एटीएस प्रमुख हेमंत करकरे की मौत पर सवाल उठाने के लिए विपक्ष के
निशाने पर आए केंद्रीय मंत्री ए. आर. अंतुले ने कहा है कि वह इस बारे में कोई सफाई नहीं देंगे और न ही किसी के प्रति उनकी जवाबदेही है। अंतुले ने यह भी कहा कि इस मामले में वह सोनिया गांधी से नहीं मिले हैं और न ही किसी को लिखित सफाई दी है। इससे पहले लोकसभा में बीजेपी और शिवसेना के सदस्यों ने हंगामा किया और अंतुले को बर्खास्त करने की मांग की। बीजेपी के संतोष गंगवार ने शून्यकाल शुरू होते ही अंतुले के कथित बयान का मामला उठाया जिसका पार्टी और शिवसेना सदस्यों ने समर्थन किया। अंतुले भी उस समय सदन में मौजूद थे लेकिन अपने बचाव में वह कुछ नहीं बोले। गंगवार ने अंतुले के बयान को आपत्तिजनक बताते हुये कहा कि एक ओर जहां लोकसभा में आतंकवाद से लड़ने के लिये कठोर कानून बनाने पर चर्चा हो रही थी वहीं दूसरी और अंतुले ने करकरे और उनके सहयोगियों के आतंकवादी हमले में मारे जाने पर सवाल खड़े किए जो अत्यंत दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है।ॉ बीजेपी ने प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह से अंतुले को तुरंत बर्खास्त करने और इस मामले में तत्काल सदन में सफाई देने की मांग की।

पाकिस्तान में आतंकवादी शिविरों को खत्म करने के लिए सरकार हिम्मत का परिचय देते हुए कड़े कदम उठाए।
योगगुरु बाबा रामदेव ने गुरुवार को कहा कि पाकिस्तान में चल रहे आतंकवादी शिविरों को खत्म करने
के लिए कड़े कदम उठाने से सरकार डरती है। साथ ही योगगुरु ने कहा कि आज बल्लभ भाई पटेल, सुभाष चंद्र बोस या इंदिरा गांधी जैसे नेता होते, तो अब तक आतंकवादी शिविरों पर हमला हो चुका होता। उत्तराखंड के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक की पुस्तक 'नन्दा राजजात' के विमोचन समारोह में हिस्सा लेने आए बाबा रामदेव ने पत्रकारों से कहा कि सरकार को चाहिए कि पाकिस्तान में आतंकवादी शिविरों को खत्म करने के लिए सरकार हिम्मत का परिचय देते हुए कड़े कदम उठाए। बाबा रामदेव से पत्रकारों ने जब यह पूछा कि सरकार कड़े कदम उठाने में क्यों हिचक रही है, उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए इच्छा शक्ति की जरूरत होती है, जिसका अभाव है। बाबा रामदेव ने कहा कि देश में सेना और अर्द्धसैनिक बलों की कुल संख्या करीब 18 लाख है, लेकिन स्थिति यह है कि आतंकवादियों से मुकाबला करने के लिए अमेरिका का मुंह ताका जाता है। बाबा ने तल्ख लहजे में कहा कि आम नागरिक को मारा जाता है, तो इसका कोई असर नहीं पड़ता और यदि सत्ता में बैठे 4 या 5 नेताओं को गोली लग जाती, तो हंगामा मच जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि सैनिकों और आम नागरिकों की जान की भी कीमत होती है और आतंकवादी घटनाओं में करीब एक लाख लोग मारे जा चुके हैं। आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ तुरंत कड़े कदम उठाए जाने की जरूरत है।

PATNA: Foggy weather conditions on Monday affected normal movement of passenger trains under Danapur division of the East Central Railway (ECR). The dense fog made things difficult particularly on the mainline Mughalsarai-Jhjaha section of the division. However, the railways have been following safety measures during foggy weather conditions, said Danapur DRM B D Garg. According to Garg, the railways have stepped up safety measures at all big and small stations to avoid any mishap during foggy conditions. As part of this exercise, fog signals (detonators) are being used every day in the division as a precautionary measure. Fog signalmen have been deputed at each station, particularly at those which are highly vulnerable from the fog point of view, he said. The DRM maintained that while four fog signalmen have been deployed at each major station, two such staff have been deputed at every small station with the strict instructions to remain extra alert especially during night. The railways have also installed visibility test object (VTO) at each fog-prone station to check visibility first and use fog signals to warn both drivers and guards to follow strictly winter safety rules, he said. According to the DRM, though the booked speed of each mail and express train is 110 kmph on the mainline section of the division, the railways have instructed the drivers to apply their discretion and follow the dense fog caution which is to run passenger trains at the maximum speed limit of 60 kmph during foggy weather conditions, Garg said. According to senior divisional safety officer (senior DSO) B N P Verma, keeping in mind the fact that the "taal" areas of Mokama, Koelwar, Biharsharif, Bakhtiarpur and Barh are mostly enveloped in dense fog, the railways have been giving counselling to all those staff related to safety, including drivers and guards. The railways have been giving topmost priority to safety measures, he said adding a separate safety cell has been set up in the Danapur control room to keep a tab on safety rules being followed in the division.

NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee on Tuesday recommended a probe by the home ministry into the role of three persons who were named in the alleged 'cash-for-votes' scam that rocked Parliament during the Confidence Motion in July. The Speaker referred to the Home Ministry the matter related to Sanjeev Saxena, alleged aide of Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, Sudheendra Kulkarni, a close aide of senior BJP leader L K Advani, and Suhail Hindustani, a day after the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee said that there was need for further investigation into the roles played by them. In its report submitted in Lok Sabha on Monday, the Inquiry Committee, headed by V Kishore Chandra Deo, had given a clean chit to Amar Singh and Ahmed Patel, political adviser to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, saying the "material on record does not conclusively prove" that they had sent money to three BJP MPs for the "purpose of winning" them over for the Confidence Motion. "The Committee has, however, found the evidence given before the Committee by three persons involved in this episode as unconvincing and the Committee have suggested that their role in the matter needs to be investigated by investigating agencies," Chatterjee noted in the House today. "I am, accordingly, referring the matter pertaining to the said three persons to the Honourable Minister of Home Affairs for appropriate action in the light of the recommendations of the Committee," the Speaker said.

रेल भर्ती बोर्ड की परीक्षा का प्रश्न पत्र आउट होने के कारण परीक्षा तो रद्द हो ही गई है साथ ही साथ कई रेलवे कर्मचारी जो इस काण्ड से ताल्लूक रखते थे, गिरफतारकिए गए हैं ।
इसी के साथ साथ करीब २५० परीक्षार्थियों को भी हिरासत में लिया गया है जिसमें यह संदेह बताया जा रहा है कि वे इस काण्ड में शामिल थे ।
इलाहाबाद रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड की लापरवाही से दूसरे परीक्षार्थियों को जो तकलीफ हुई है उसका जिम्मेवार होगा कौन , इसपर भी ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है ।

दिल्ली मैट्रो को ऊर्जा बचत केलिए पुरस्कार मिला
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) was conferred an award on Sunday by the power ministry for adopting special measures that result in energy conservation. Satish Kumar, DMRC's director (electrical), received the award on behalf of DMRC from Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde at the National Energy Awards function held at the Hyatt Hotel in the capital. The measures that were lauded by the ministry included utilisation of energy regenerated during braking the trains for air conditioning and lighting, management of lighting in stations and tunnels, use of solar energy in parking lots, and optimisation of air conditioning in trains and stations. DMRC has been previously given ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications for good environmental management and has also been recognised by the United Nations as the first railway project to earn carbon credits

रेल मंत्री लालू प्रसाद यादव ने कहा है कि 45 साल से अधिक उम्र की महिलाओं को रेल यात्रा में 50 प्रतिशत छूट दी जाएगी। लालू यादव ने रविवार को भभुआ रोड स्टेशन पर भभुआ रोड-मुण्डेश्वरीधाम नई रेल लाईन का शिलान्यास के मौके पर यह ऐलान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान रेलवे ने कामयाबी के कई नए कीर्तिमान बनाए हैं और आज भारतीय रेल का डंका पूरे विश्व में बज रहा है और पूरे विश्व से एक्सपर्ट यहां आकर इसकी सफलता की स्टडी करने में जुटे हैं। रेल मंत्री ने कहा कि रेलवे की ओर से बिहार में 65 हजार करोड़ रुपये के विभिन्न विकास योजनाओं पर काम चल रहा है और आने वाले समय में राज्य के लोगों को काम की तलाश में अन्य प्रदेशों में जाने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। इस मौके पर केन्द्रीय सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्री मीरा कुमार और केन्द्रीय पर्यटन एवं संस्कृति राज्य मंत्री कांति सिंह समेत कई सांसद एवं विधायक मौजूद थे।

The chapter would precisely cover the safety precautions to be taken while travelling and crossing manned and unmanned crossings and those relating to tackling drugging on running trains, an official of the East Central Railway (ECR) said. The state Human resource development department's officials have responded favourably to ECR's request, he claimed. The ECR has also decided to equip every division with adequate number of walkie-talkies and it would embark on regular training and health check-up camps for all those involved in safety of trains, he said.
